Winged Liberty Head looking to left, the legend “Liberty” inscribed around it starting from 9 o’clock. Legend “In God We Trust’ inscribed on the left lower part of the coin with the date “1916” on the lower right side. The initials of the designer Adolph A. Weinman, ‘AW’ (‘A’ written below ‘W’) is inscribed on right.
